Rose Quartz gains its beautiful, pastel rose colour from trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese present in natural Quartz.  As a gemstone, it was so popular in ancient times that Rose Quartz stone masks have been recovered from Egyptian and Roman tombs. Finding Rose Quartz in crystal form is rare and the structure of the crystal makes it photosensitive, so care should be taken to avoid light and heat exposure to avoid fading.

The easiest way to find out your size is to measure the internal diameter of an existing ring, but there are a couple of points to remember. Firstly, your fingers will vary in size depending on the weather and the time of day, mornings and cool weather can reduce your fingers by up to a full size. Also, the style of shank of the ring can make a big difference too, a wide, thick band will make the ring feel tighter, a fine, thin band will feel much looser.
