Larimar-Peace-Truth-Tranquillity

Larimar, a rare form of blue pectolite is found only in one location: a mountainous, relatively inaccessible area in the province of Barahona in the Dominican Republic. 

While it is mainly land mined, Larimar has also been found as alluvial deposits on beaches and riverbeds, giving rise to the belief by the locals that it is a gift of the sea.

The easiest way to find out your size is to measure the internal diameter of an existing ring, but there are a couple of points to remember. Firstly, your fingers will vary in size depending on the weather and the time of day, mornings and cool weather can reduce your fingers by up to a full size. Also, the style of shank of the ring can make a big difference too, a wide, thick band will make the ring feel tighter, a fine, thin band will feel much looser.
