DESCRIPTION

Hirz amulets have a distinctive cylindrical design that open on one end to allow personal ritual items or medicinal herbs to be placed inside! This one is from the Bukhara region in Turkmenistan and in remarkable condition for its age, possibly mid 20th century. Another incredibly rare piece!
