Prehnite Tulsi Earrings ...striking golden green Prehnite cabochons mounted in one of our all-time favourite settings, Tulsi is a profusion of intricate detailing, all created by hand from the workrooms of our most highly skilled artisan, pure bliss!
First discovered near the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa by the Dutch commander, Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn, this lustrous green gemstone was initially nicknamed ‘Cape Emerald’ by early traders, who hoped to exploit its green colour. Later given the name Prehnite, this mineral can develop a radiating crystal structure and forms complete individual spheres given the right conditions. It can also display a stunning cats-eye effect when cut into cabochons.

Our Jewellery is more than just an accessory, we want you to keep enjoying your Kalapriya pieces for years to come. To maintain your jewellery please keep in mind that Sterling Silver is a soft metal which will naturally oxidise and mellow over time. We recommend keeping your jewellery wrapped in our acid free tissue paper in a dry, cool environment. Always apply perfume and lotions well before putting on your jewellery and removing it before swimming and showering.
A silver cloth is preferred for cleaning as some of the chemical dips can damage the stones and strip the silver of its beautiful lustre.
